Tokyo, Japan. — July 1, 2014 — Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced the appointment of Eugene Saburi as President of the Adobe Japan operation. Saburi will report to Matt Thompson, executive vice president, Worldwide Field Operations and supervise overall Japan businesses and operations for Adobe.
Prior to Adobe, Saburi spent nearly 19 years at Microsoft, including nine years at Microsoft Japan, in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently he was general manager in the Server & Tools Marketing Group at Microsoft Corporation, helping drive the fastest growing business at Microsoft.
Saburi’s appointment comes at a timely moment for Adobe as the company accelerates the development of its enterprise business across Adobe Marketing Cloud, and Creative Cloud. Saburi will be tasked to continue to drive the company’s business transformation to the cloud-based model for Adobe’s significant Japan presence.
