Adobe XD is a tool of choice for many email designers because of its intuitive yet powerful features and integration with Adobe Creative Cloud. XD offers features like Repeat Grid, Content-Aware Layout and Components specifically designed to help speed up their workflows and create incredible email designs.
Email template designs should include the layout of the email (one-column or two-column), your brand’s logo, images and other rich media, email body copy and CTA buttons. It’s also important to include the following email copy components: pre-header and subject lines, email body copy, CTA copy and a footer.
Repeat Grid is a powerful tool for quickly creating layouts with repeating content, such as several content blocks within an email newsletter. Design the layout and appearance of a content block and, using Repeat Grid, drag out the number of instances of the content block you wish to include in the email template design. If your content block includes text and images, you can drag-and-drop image files or .txt files into the Repeat Grid to automatically populate content in your designs.
