The Adobeﾮ Illustratorﾮ 10.0.3 update addresses known issues in Illustrator 10.
Photoshopﾮ 7.0 compatibility
The update provides compatibility with Photoshop 7.0 files. Specifically, Illustrator 10.0.3 can import Photoshop 7.0 files that contain any of the five new blend modes in that program. Illustrator 10.0.3 correctly exports PSD files that utilize Photoshop 7.0's antialiasing and layer slices.
The update addresses performance issues on the Mac OS platforms.
The update addresses numerous printing and flattening issues.
The update includes four Pantone libraries: PANTONE Solid Coated, PANTONE Solid Matte, PANTONE Solid Uncoated, and PANTONE Process Coated. The first three libraries have corrected CMYK color values for PANTONE colors 7492-7547. The fourth library has been updated so swatches are set to Illustratorﾒs Global Process colors rather than Spot Colors.
