The Adobe® Acrobat® 3D 8.1.1 update addresses several known issues in Acrobat 3D version 8 software. Adobe recommends that all Acrobat 3D version 8 users apply this update.

Close a potential security vulnerability on Windows® XP computers that have Internet Explorer 7 installed (CVE-2007-5020); see the Adobe Security Bulletin (APSB07-18) concerning this issue
Address several PDF forms-related issues
Address issues that may arise with OCR text recognition for Japanese text
Provide additional stability

This update can be applied to version 8.1.0 of Adobe Acrobat Professional, Standard, or 3D.
This multilingual update can be applied to English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional) versions of Acrobat 8 Professional, Standard, or 3D.

Acrobat 3D 8.1.1 for Windows requires the following:
Intel® Pentium® processor (Pentium 4 or M recommended)
Microsoft® Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2, Windows XP Professional or Home Edition, or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5
512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
1GB of available hard-disk space (includes cache for optional installation files)

This update requires that Acrobat 8.1.0 is installed on your system. To determine which version of Acrobat you have currently installed, choose Help > About Acrobat. The version number appears in the upper left corner below the Acrobat logo.
If you have version 8.1.0 installed, download and install the incremental patch.
After downloading the MSP update file, double-click the file to begin the update process.
