The Save for Service Provider plug-in enables you to collect all the files your service provider will need to output your publication. It also helps you check your publication for problems, so that you may correct them before delivering your files to the service provider. This update, version 1.1, resolves the following problems in the Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in that was included with Adobe PageMaker 6.5 and 6.51 for Windows:
-- The Save for Service Provider 1.1 plug-in includes the Tracking Values file in the package it creates. The Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in does not include the Tracking Values file.
-- The Save for Service Provider 1.1 plug-in retains the color applied to EPS files in publications. The Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in does not retain the color applied to EPS files.
-- The Save for Service Provider 1.1 plug-in retains the stacking order of objects that span facing pages. The Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in may change the stacking order of objects that span facing pages.
-- The Save for Service Provider 1.1 plug-in is faster than the 1.0 plug-in when checking fonts in an Adobe PageMaker 6.5x publication in Windows NT 4.0. This faster support is provided only when Adobe Type Manager 4.0 for Windows NT or Adobe Type Manager Deluxe 4.0 for Windows NT is installed.
