In this project we created a indoop positioning and localization system based on wireless signal fingerprinting and pedestrian dead reconing (PDR).

Accelerometer and rotational sensors on the smartphone were used for PDR.

Map matching and particle filtering were used to improve the results.

The system could predict the user location with high accuracy.

The technique was agnostic to the location and orientation of the mobile device.

We further developed application to transfer content from one device to another based on the above system and novel guestures like point, flick, drag and drop.
