“Over the last few weeks, through windows and doorways along my street, it has been incredibly moving to see the national outpouring towards our healthcare workers. I created this piece to further pay homage to the courageous men and women working on the frontline. But also to show the UK's shared pride for our beloved NHS. It features the NHS personified, proudly draped in the flag of free healthcare, overlooking our much changed planet as a kind of superhero character! All doctors, nurses and carers are superheroes in my eyes and I know we all are so immensely proud of all of them.”
