Jeff Wilkinson

Biography

Jeff Wilkinson is a hardware design engineer in his real life and a web developer for fun and occasional profit since 1996. He began using HomeSite back at version 2.5 and has been active in the forums and beta testing ever since.

In 1999, as a result of a perceived need, he created ASP4HS, a site specializing in putting together information and extensions (add-ons) for developers using HomeSite for Active Server Pages (ASP) web development. ASP4HS later grew with the addition of a PHP4HS list. The number of ASP and PHP developers sharing powerful add-ons via this site has proven the power of HomeSite extensibility, the power and generosity of the HomeSite user community, and the widespread desire for HomeSite support for these technologies.

Jeff's interest in ASP, PHP, and ASP.NET have convinced him to take up his lance in the role of unofficial HomeSite and ASP/ASP.NET/PHP evangelist and gadfly, particularly in pushing for better support and in educating users in the extensions already available.
