Presentation Library

The Presentation Library is the repository of information on MAX 2006 sessions. The Library is now available and will remain so for 90 days following the conference.

The Presentation Library is password protected. The login and password have been emailed to all attendees, and will also be in the Conference Guide you receive in your MAX 2006 Conference bag. Sign in now>

introNetworks is an application that helps you find and communicate with other MAX 2006 attendees who share your personal and professional interests. We encourage you to sign in to get the best advantage from this innovative application. Sign in now ›

Instructions:

  1. Your email login and password are the same ones that you defined during your registration process. If you cannot remember your login and password, please email info@adobemax06.com.
  2. On the first screen you can update your contact information as well as enter three words you'd like to use as conversation starters. These words are seen by other attendees on your personal "introCard". On the next screen, enter your interests and skills as directed by the program. On the following screen you can answer questions to better describe yourself.
  3. On the final profile screen you can upload photos, record a quick video and add a link to your blog. Then click "Complete Profile" to access the Visualizer where you can see who at MAX 2006 is most like you personally and professionally. Zoom in and out of the Visualizer to see where other attendees map against your interests.
  4. Click on the pins to see other attendees' introCards and contact them via the introNetworks email system. Integrated video mail built on the Flash Communication Server MX technology allows all attendees to access video mail within the application.

Are attendees permitted to bring guests?

Attendees are permitted to register a guest who is 21 years of age or older. Registered guests are permitted to attend the Welcome Reception and the Customer Appreciation Event. These two events are not available for purchase individually. Guest passes will be available for a fee throughout registration and during the conference. Each guest pass holder must be accompanied by a paid MAX 2006 registration holder. The guest pass does not include access to any sessions, continental breakfasts or lunches, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with full conference passes.

Are children permitted to attend Adobe MAX 2006?

Children are not permitted to attend MAX 2006, including the evening events; however, Las Vegas offers numerous activities that may be appealing to families. In the event child care is needed, please contact your hotel directly to make the necessary arrangements.

What is the attire for Adobe MAX 2006?

Casual attire is appropriate for the entire week. Bring a sweater or sweatshirt in case of cool temperatures in session rooms.

What is the registration process?

Registration is now open. To register for MAX 2006 and take advantage of Early Bird pricing discounts, simply complete the online registration form by September 25, 2006 and submit payment prior to October 1st, 2006. Prices vary; please see registration section for details.
NOTE: All Day Hands-on Training Sessions are priced in addition to your registration fee, and are not a mandatory part of MAX 2006.

When will I receive my Adobe MAX 2006 badge?

MAX 2006 badges are available for pickup onsite at the registration area in the Venetian Hotel during designated hours. All related conference materials will be available for pick-up in the registration area once you have checked in. A government issued, photo ID will be required to activate your badge and to collect your MAX 2006 materials.

Is onsite registration available?

Onsite registration will begin on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 12:01pm. The onsite registration fee is payable by American Express, MasterCard, Visa, check, or money order. Please note that availability in All Day Hands-on Training Sessions may be limited by the time of onsite registration.

Are attendee substitutions permitted?

If you are unable to attend MAX 2006 after registering, a substitution from the same company is permitted at no charge. Please submit substitution notification to info@adobemax06.com. Notification must be received by September 25, 2006. For substitutions after the deadline, please bring written notification to the onsite MAX 2006 registration area in Las Vegas.

What is the cancellation policy?

Conference cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and received by Adobe before Monday September 25, 2006 to receive your refund. The refund is calculated by taking your total conference bill less a $400 service charge for the conference program and a $50 service fee for a guest pass, if it was chosen during the registration process. Cancellation requests received after September 25th, 2006 will be ineligible for refund.

How long does it take to get to/from the airport, and how much does it cost?

Journey time is approximately 20 minutes (or longer in traffic) and about US$25.00 via taxi from the airport to the Venetian Hotel. Airport Shuttle transportation is located on the north and west sides of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-14. Cost is US$8 - US$15 per person. The shuttle makes stops at various hotels.

Will there be special rates offered by hotels in Las Vegas?

The Venetian Hotel will be the only hotel to offer special discounted MAX 2006 rates. The negotiated discounted rate at the Venetian is US$219.00. You can book your Las Vegas hotel stay while completing your registration for MAX 2006. Additional charges such as occupancy rates and tax are not included in the room rates listed and may be applied by the hotel.

Can I apply to present a session at Adobe MAX 2006?

Session topics and speakers for MAX 2006 have already been selected. If you are interested in presenting at future Adobe MAX conferences, please contact info@adobemax06.com with your contact information and proposed topic.

How long are the sessions?

Technical sessions last 40–50 minutes for presentations and 10 minutes for questions and answers for a total of 60 minutes. Hands-on training sessions last 90 minutes and consist of presentations, demonstrations, examples, and hands-on class exercises.

How were topics and speakers selected for Adobe MAX 2006?

The Content Development Committee, which consistes of a combination of representatives from multiple organizations within Adobe, developed the session topics for each track. Each topic was evaluated based on its relevance to the overall conference program. Speaker experience and history was considered when selecting presenters.
