LiveCycle ES Update 1 Service Pack 3

You are entitled to receive this product update as a benefit of your maintenance and support agreement with Adobe. This is a cumulative service pack, and includes all fixes contained in earlier patches from Adobe. Service Pack 3 updates LiveCycle ES server components and LiveCycle Workbench ES (updating both is required) and can only be deployed on LiveCycle ES Update 1.

Note: LiveCycle ES Update 1 Service Pack 3 is a cumulative Service Pack. If you install LiveCycle ES Update 1 Service Pack 3 you do not need to install LiveCycle ES Update 1 Service Pack 2. ES Update 1 Service Pack 2 has been provided for users who do not have plans to upgrade to Service Pack 3 in the near future.

Note: It is mandatory to install LCES Update 1 SP3 QF #3.19 once SP3 is installed.

If you already downloaded SP3 previously, you should download QF 3.19 from the link further down the page. If you already have LCES Update 1 SP3 installed, then you do not need to reinstall it. You will just need to install QF 3.19 on top of your current SP3 install.

Download the .zip or .tgz file for the service pack depending on your Operating System, the workbench.zip and designer82SP3.zip and extract the contents with a file extraction utility such as WinZip. Then refer to the Readme file for detailed instructions on installing the Service Pack. For installing the LCES Update 1 SP3 QF # 3.19 please follow instructions from readme for this patch located under the "LCES Update 1 SP3 QF # 3.19" section below.

Issue addressed in this quick fix

When submitting a task from LiveCycle Workspace ES, the process instance is not showing an updated status once completed in the LiveCycle Administration Console. Additionally, the following exception is repeatedly logged: org.quartz.JobExecutionException: java.lang.Exception: com.thoughtworks.xstream.mapper.CannotResolveClassException: EventServiceContent : IDPSchedulerService_Worker-15Class name EventServiceContent from package not found. (See nested exception: java.lang.Exception: com.thoughtworks.xstream.mapper.CannotResolveClassException: EventServiceContent : IDPSchedulerService_Worker-15Class name EventServiceContent from package not found.)
