Öffne ein Foto. Wähle die Fotoebene aus. Wähle „Filter > Für Smartfilter konvertieren“. Klicke auf „OK“. Durch die Konvertierung bleibt das Originalbild erhalten. Gleichzeitig hast du die Möglichkeit, deine Einstellungen für Tiefen/Lichter, die du im nächsten Schritt festlegst, später noch zu ändern.
Tipp: Du kannst Tiefen und Lichter auch direkt in einem Foto anpassen. Das Konvertierung für Smart-Filter vor der Anpassung hat jedoch den Vorteil, dass du deine Einstellungen später ändern oder sogar ganz löschen kannst.

Wende eine Einstellungsebene des Typs „Tiefen/Lichter“ an, um über- oder unterbelichtete Bildbereiche anzupassen. Wähle „Bild > Korrekturen > Tiefen/Lichter“, um die Einstellungen zu öffnen.

Ziehe den Regler für Tiefen nach rechts, um unterbelichtete Bereiche aufzuhellen.
Tipp: Aktiviere und deaktiviere die Option „Vorschau“, um Vorher- und Nachher-Versionen miteinander zu vergleichen.

Ziehe den Regler für Lichter nach rechts, um Details in überbelichteten Bereichen zum Vorschein zu bringen. Klicke auf „OK“, um die Einstellungen anzuwenden.
Tipp: Wähle „Weitere Optionen einblenden“, um weitere Einstellungen zur Feinjustierung aufzurufen.
Tipp: Speichere dein Bild als PSD- oder TIFF-Datei, um die Einstellungen für Tiefen/Lichter später anpassen zu können. Ausgehend von diesen Dateiformaten kannst du auch eine Kopie in einem Format wie JPEG oder PNG speichern.
Um die Einstellungen für Tiefen/Lichter anzupassen, doppelklicke im Bedienfeld „Ebenen“ unter „Smartfilter“ auf „Tiefen/Lichter“.
