Eine Organisation gilt als bezugsberechtigt, wenn sie in dem Land, in dem sie eingetragen ist, als wohltätige oder gemeinnützige Organisation anerkannt ist. In Deutschland kann dies beispielsweise an der Rechtsform der Organisation festgemacht werden: Stiftung, gemeinnütziger eingetragener Verein (im Vereinsregister als solcher eingetragen), gGmbH oder gUG (im Handelsregister eingetragen).
Gemeinnützige Organisationen erhalten einen signifikanten Rabatt auf Jahres-Abos für Adobe Acrobat Pro und können Adobe Express kostenlos verwenden. Außerdem gelten für sie günstigere Konditionen beim Erwerb von Jahres-Abos für Adobe Creative Cloud für Einzelanwenderinnen und -anwender.
