Adobe Express celebrates national nonprofit day

At Adobe, we believe that the work done by volunteers and nonprofits is essential to building strong, resilient communities. We partner with local nonprofits to create positive outcomes in our communities, and in 2022, Adobe’s global employees volunteered over 150,000 hours, along with Adobe donating over $113M (cash and in-kind) to communities worldwide, to support 89,000+ organizations.
This August 17, celebrate with Adobe Express as we observe National Nonprofit Day – a day to acknowledge the immense effort nonprofits put into making a positive impact on local communities and around the world.
What is National Nonprofit Day?
If you’ve ever volunteered with a local organization, you understand the potential impact nonprofits have on the volunteers, employees, and the communities they serve. Despite roots in the late 1800s, National Nonprofit Day didn’t officially start until 2017. While the holiday may be new, the message and mission to be the change we want to see in the world is as old as time.

Celebrate by giving back
Volunteer, donate to an organization, or share a donation link with family and friends.
If you have a particular organization in mind, visit their website to see how you can get involved in supporting their cause. You can donate directly or share donation links with family and friends in your group chats or on social media. After donating, you can also check with your employer to see if they do corporate matching to augment your contribution.
You don’t have to donate money to get involved. There are multiple ways to give back. Volunteer at your favorite organization or match with inspiring causes and nonprofit organizations to find volunteer opportunities.
Spread the word
