Introduction
[Arabella Espinosa]: Have you ever visited the Lightroom Community that's right inside the Lightroom apps on your computer, on mobile, and on the web?
It's much more than a place to share photos.
It's also a powerful way to learn editing, explore creative styles, and more.
Hi, I'm Arabella Espinosa.
You might know me from streaming on Adobe Live.
I'm a creative photographer, working on everything from portrait and street photography to commercial product shoots.
Let's go check out the Lightroom Community.
Explore the Lightroom Community
I'm going to show you Lightroom Community in the mobile app, but you can also find it in Lightroom on your computer or Lightroom on the web.
To get started, tap the Community tab in the lower right.
In the Featured and New sections, you can browse images by different categories.
The curated Featured section is a great place to find inspiration and discover new styles and editing approaches.
If you press and hold on a photo, you can see the version before any adjustments.
Learn by viewing image edits
To learn more about how a photo has been edited, tap an image to see it larger, then tap the image again or tap Play edits at the bottom to watch the full edit sequence.
You can also swipe up to view all of the adjustments.
This is one of my favorite ways to learn - seeing exactly how an edit comes together step-by-step.
Tap the name of the photographer to see more of their photos, and if you want, you can tap Follow so you can keep up with their posts in the Following section.
Save image edits as presets
If you see an edit that you like, you can save the settings as a preset you can use on your own photos.
Tap the Save As preset icon on the right to save the adjustments as a preset, which you can then access in the Saved from Community section of your presets.
Remix photos by other photographers
If an image has remixes, you'll see these as additional thumbnails below the photo.
Remixes are different edits of the same image made by other Lightroom Community members.
If you want to have a go with your own remix, tap the Remix button on the right or at the end of the remix thumbnails.
Share your own edits to the Lightroom Community
To share one of your own photos, tap the Share icon at the top right.
Choose Share your edit process, then Post to Community.
From here, you can add a Title, a quick Description, and target with relevant Categories.
If you want to see how other people interpret your image, turn on the option to Allow remixing.
With remixes, others can edit your photo, but they will not be able to download your image.
Tap the Checkmark to share, and in just a few moments, you'll be able to view your shared photo by returning to the Community tab and tapping on your profile photo.
Now that you know how to explore edits and learn from other photographers in the Lightroom Community, why not try remixing a photo yourself?
Or better yet, share one of your own and keep learning through the creativity of others.
Thanks for watching.
