ABOUT THE SESSION
As Designers we still put the user at the center of our work. But we have to take responsibility for the effect of our work on all actors in the system. Be it other people, the society or the environment. How do we shift from user-centric to environment-centric design? How do we get more sustainable in our work? Do we have to change the way we work? Do we have to choose our clients more wisely? Signing another manifesto will not solve problems if we lack the practical tools, hints or best-practice cases. That is why we decided to create something different. Something that is more practical and targets all aspects of sustainability based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. We want to build it for the community and together with the community and we invite you to join the SUX community. Because we Designers are more powerful than ever. And it is up to us to make use of this power. To question our own work, challenge our colleagues and clients. To be a change.
