We always say our heads are full of thoughts, but instead of trying to clear them, what if we used all those words to create a head of hair worthy of a shampoo bottle?
Hi, my name is Ariadna.
I’m a graphic designer specializing in visual identity, and in this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create typographic curls.
We start by freely sketching the hair from the outside in, then using the Text to Path tool, we turn those curves into curls filled with positive messages.
For the final touch, we don’t keep the label flat—we project it directly onto a photo of a real bottle using the layout tool, applying the multiply blend mode to seamlessly integrate the highlights and textures.
And just like that, we go from having a head full of scattered words to a stylish package.
Are you ready?
Let’s get started!
