Access to the document you just tried to open is restricted with Adobe Document Security for Adobe Experience Manager Forms/LiveCycle Rights Management. The software allows authors to protect critical information and ensure only authorized individuals are allowed to open, copy, modify, or print content.
A remote server will securely evaluate your account information and the policy associated with the protected document to determine what access rights you should be granted.
Certain individuals (typically the IT administrator, and the document author) may be allowed to configure the system to maintain an audit log of when protected documents are successfully accessed, modified, printed -- or when unauthorized attempts occur. This centralized log will also contain personally identifiable information like the account information or the client IP address.
The audit log capability described here generically may not be enabled for the particular document you just tried to open. Please contact the document author to determine what information may be collected and how it will be used.
