Only full- or part-time students enrolled at a higher education establishment, defined as an accredited public or private university or a college that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of study, or students enrolled at an accredited public or private school providing full-time instruction are eligible.
How do I provide evidence of eligibility?
You must apply for a serial number from Adobe by e-mail or fax and include proof of eligibility with your application.
What kind of evidence do I need?
You must provide a valid, current student ID that includes name, date, and a photo. If you do not have a current student ID with name, date, and photo, you must instead provide a valid photo ID and one corroborating piece of evidence of current enrollment:
- Official, current nonphoto student ID with name and date
- Official, current school transcript indicating your name and name of school
- Official, current school tuition bill indicating your name and name of school
- Official, current report card indicating your name and name of school
- Other official dated proof of enrollment

No, there is no time limit on using the Student Editions.

How many versions of a Student Edition can I purchase?
Each eligible person may purchase only one Student Edition per product. If further copies are bought by the same person, no serial number will be issued for them.
How many computers can I use a Student Edition on?
A Student Edition can be used on only one computer. This is ensured through a product activation procedure, which is performed online.
Can I upgrade from a Student Edition?
Yes, a Student Edition can be upgraded to a commercial version.
Can I resell a Student Edition?
No, a Student Edition may neither be sold by the licencee nor given to others for free.
