Introduction
[Stefan Gruenwedel]: Hi, my name is Stefan Gruenwedel.
I'm an instructor on the Adobe Learn team.
In this video, I'm going to show you some ways to turn a collection of files into an interactive experience in Adobe Acrobat - it's called a PDF Space.
The example I'll show you is a proposal for a high-end kitchen remodel.
Create a PDF Space from your files
You'll create a PDF Space by dragging your files to the drop zone on the Home screen in Acrobat.
Click Create PDF Space in the dialog box.
Now watch as Acrobat generates the PDF Space before your eyes.
Let's check out the tools in the left panel.
The top one is Overview mode.
This shows the current layout of the PDF Space.
Next comes Files.
Click it to see the list of files in the PDF Space.
You can reorder them by dragging up and down.
The More menu gives you additional options.
Click Notes to add one or more notes about the PDF Space.
Enhance your space with AI
Click Podcasts to create a conversational-style overview of the documents in your PDF Space. [podcast host]: Welcome to this episode.
Today we're diving deep into a high-end kitchen remodel project by Prestige Kitchens for the Anderson family in Marin County, California.
[Stefan Gruenwedel]: Let's go back to Overview mode.
You can rearrange the sections so the most important one appears on top.
Just drag them up and down.
You can also add a logo to give your PDF Space a professional touch.
To do that, click the + sign, then click Logo.
Drag and drop your logo file and then click Add to overview to place it at the top.
Check out the AI Assistant panel on the right side of the screen.
The AI Assistant can help you analyze and enhance your PDF Space.
For example, you can use it to generate an introductory block of text.
Let's try this out by entering a prompt: "Create a personalized message to the Anderson family about this kitchen remodel proposal.
Make it short and welcoming with a header and one paragraph about Prestige Kitchens."
Click Submit and then read the generated copy.
Click the + sign, then click Text.
Now you can paste the generated copy and fine-tune it from there.
When you're ready to share the PDF Space, click Share in the upper right.
Share and explore with the AI Assistant
You can copy a link to it or share it via various third-party apps as shown.
Let's copy the share link.
It's a good idea to test how your PDF Space looks before you share it with others.
Paste the link into a new browser window and confirm it's to your liking.
As you can see, recipients will see an AI Assistant panel, too.
They can use it to find out more about the PDF Space.
For example, given this is about a high-end kitchen remodel, they might ask: "What's the cost?"
They'll quickly see a response with numbered references.
Those references verify where the information came from to generate the answer.
Try some follow-up questions: "What's the most expensive cost?"
See the generated reply.
Or: "How many people will work in the house?"
See the answer to that one.
That's how you create a PDF Space.
Try it out for yourself.
We've provided some sample files for you to practice with.
Thanks for watching.
