Sobre a autora
Paula Cruz é ilustradora porradeira + designer witch.
É formada na graduação pela EBA/UFRJ e mestra em Design pela PUC-Rio, onde desenvolveu pesquisa sobre publicações híbridas e novas formas de leitura. Ela atravessou o Atlântico para estudar os mestres do design Holandês na Willem de Kooning Academie em Rotterdam, Holanda. Atualmente mora no Rio de Janeiro e atua como professora de design + ilustração desde 2019.
É criadora do Modernismo Funkeiro, projeto que une a irreverência do funk com a sobriedade do design modernista numa série de cartazes tipográficos. Já trabalhou para clientes como Google, Facebook, Youtube Global, Whatsapp Global, Editora Record, Intrínseca, Descomplica, TAG Livros, Adidas, Asics, Adobe, O Globo, TikTok, Snapchat e Disney+.
Paralelamente ao trabalho e estudos, constrói projetos autorais que unem design, ilustração e pesquisa, tais como livros, cartazes e quadrinhos.
