Nel pannello Strumenti seleziona lo strumento Testo orizzontale.
Nella barra delle opzioni scegli un font, le dimensioni del font, il colore e altre impostazioni da applicare al tuo testo. Puoi modificare una qualsiasi di queste impostazioni anche in un momento successivo.
Fai clic sul quadro e inserisci una sola riga di testo. Puoi anche creare un paragrafo di testo trascinando una casella di testo e quindi digitando al suo interno.
Fai clic sul segno di spunta nella barra delle opzioni per confermare il testo e quindi uscire dalla modalità testo. Nel pannello Livelli viene creato automaticamente un nuovo livello testo modificabile.
Usa lo strumento Sposta per spostare il testo nella posizione desiderata all’interno dell’immagine.
Salva l'immagine in formato Photoshop (PSD) per mantenere editabili i livelli testo ed eventualmente modificarli in futuro.

Per modificare il testo in un livello testo, seleziona il livello testo nel pannello Livelli e fai clic sullo strumento Testoorizzontale o Testo verticale nel pannello Strumenti. Modifica una qualsiasi delle impostazioni nella barra delle opzioni, ad esempio font o colore del testo.
Una volta terminata la modifica, fai clic sul segno di spunta nella barra delle opzioni.

Nel pannello Strumenti fai clic e tieni premuto lo strumento Rettangolo (o qualsiasi altro strumento Forma correntemente visualizzato nel pannello Strumenti) per visualizzare tutti gli strumenti Forma disponibili. Seleziona lo strumento relativo alla forma che vuoi disegnare.
Nella barra delle opzioni scegli un colore di riempimento e altre impostazioni da applicare alla tua forma. Potrai modificarle successivamente.
Tieni premuto il tasto Maiusc per evitare la distorsione della forma mentre trascini il cursore in un’immagine per creare una forma modificabile. Nel pannello Livelli viene creato automaticamente un nuovo livello forma.
Usa lo strumento Sposta per spostare la forma nella posizione desiderata all’interno dell’immagine.
Ridimensiona, trasforma o ruota una forma senza alterare la qualità dell’immagine scegliendo Modifica > Trasformazione libera oppure premendo Ctrl+T (Windows) o Comando+T (macOS).
Per modificare il colore di una forma, entra nel pannello Livelli, individua il livello forma che vuoi modificare e fai doppio clic sulla miniatura corrispondente per aprire il Selettore colore. Facendo clic sui vari colori nel Selettore colore, vedrai un’anteprima dal vivo del colore selezionato applicato alla forma. Quando trovi il colore che ti soddisfa, fai clic su OK per applicarlo alla forma.

Per visualizzare tutte le forme personali incorporate in Photoshop, fai clic sull'icona a forma di ingranaggio a destra del selettore Forma, scegli Tutte dal menu e fai clic su OK nel messaggio che apparirà. Quindi fai clic sull'angolo in basso a destra del selettore Forma e trascinalo verso l'esterno per visualizzare tutte le forme disponibili.
