1. Beispieldateien herunterladen und die Datei „book-cover.indd“ öffnen.
2. Auswahl-Werkzeug auswählen und auf den Text klicken. Im Bedienfeld Eigenschaften im Abschnitt Zeichen auf den Pfeil neben dem Namen der Schriftart klicken.
3. Oben im Schriftenmenü auf Mehr suchen klicken, um die Sammlung von Adobe Fonts zu durchsuchen. Die B -Taste und dann zweimal die O -Taste drücken, um die Adobe Fonts -Schriftenfamilie Bookmania aufzurufen.
4. Bookmania Regular in der Liste auswählen und anschließend auf das kleine Wolkensymbol rechts klicken, um die Schrift zu aktivieren. Auf OK klicken.
Tipp: Schriften lassen sich nach Klassifizierung und Eigenschaften filtern.
Alternative Glyphen auswählen

auswählen und den Anfangsbuchstaben G markieren.
6. Viele Adobe Fonts-Schriften enthalten Glyphen, die sich zur Verschönerung oder Individualisierung von Text anbieten. Wenn alternative Glyphen verfügbar sind, erscheint eine blaue Unterstreichung – einfach mit der Maus darauf zeigen und im Kontextmenü die gewünschte Glyphe auswählen.
7. Im Kontextmenü auf den Pfeil klicken, um alle Glyphen für die aktuelle Markierung zu sehen. Die gewünschte Glyphe lässt sich per Doppelklick anwenden.
8. Tipp: Um sämtliche Glyphen für eine ausgewählte Schriftart zu sehen, im Bedienfeld Glyphen unter Einblenden die Option Gesamte Schriftart auswählen.
Zeichenabstand anpassen
9. Text-Werkzeug aufrufen, Cursor zwischen zwei Buchstaben positionieren, Wahl- (macOS) bzw. Alt-Taste (Windows) gedrückt halten und die Nach-links- bzw. die Nach-rechts-Taste drücken, um den Abstand zu verkleinern bzw. zu vergrößern. Oder im Bedienfeld Eigenschaften im Abschnitt Zeichen im Feld Kerning einen numerischen Wert eingeben. Der Wert lässt sich auch mit der Nach-oben- bzw. der Nach-unten-Taste erhöhen bzw. verringern.
