If the Styles panel is not already open, choose Window > Panels > Styles to open it. Click the triangle in the upper right corner of the Styles panel to display the Options pop-up menu, and choose New. |

A new style named Style-1 appears in the Styles panel.

Double-click the style name, type Body text to rename it, and press Enter (Windows) or Return (Macintosh). |
