pdfg-ejb-client.jar
Date: February 23, 2006
Product: Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator 7.0
File: pdfgapi-ejb-client-2.zip

UPDATED February 23, 2006

The Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator file named pdfg-ejb-client.jar has been updated to fix issues that prevent the LiveCycle PDF Generator QPAC from connecting with LiveCycle PDF Generator 7.0 deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server.

If you are using the LiveCycle PDF Generator QPAC that was included in LiveCycle Workflow SDK and LiveCycle PDF Generator 7.0 is deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server, you need to update your LiveCycle EAR file with the downloaded pdfg-ejb-client.jar file and then redeploy the EAR file.

To update and redeploy the EAR file:

  1. If it does not already exist, create a directory named ext in the [LiveCycle_root]/components/workflow directory, where [LiveCycle_root] is the directory where you installed LiveCycle PDF Generator.
  2. Copy the pdfg-ejb-client.jar file that you downloaded to the ext directory. If an older version of the file already exists in this directory, replace it.
  3. Use Adobe Configuration Manager to assemble the LiveCycle EAR file as described in Installing and Configuring LiveCycle PDF Generator.
  4. Deploy the new EAR file to WebSphere Application Server as described in Installing and Configuring LiveCycle PDF Generator.
