Adobe User Management component of Adobe LiveCycle 7.0
Date: July 21, 2006
Products: Adobe LiveCycle Workflow 7.0.1

When users change organizational units (departments) in LiveCycle User Manager, the product currently defaults to using "dn". When the user changes the group, "dn" changes, causing the user to be marked OBSOLETE, and the account assigned an inactive status. A patch has been created for Workflow to address this issue, enabling the use of another unique identifier. If you are using a flat LDAP structure and user accounts are never moved between "OU’s", you will not encounter this problem. This behavior is more prevalent in an Active Directory environment than SunOne directory, because SunOne trees by default are flat. To determine if this patch is relevant to your environment, please contact Adobe Support. Please note that these fixes will be included for all LiveCycle 7.2 products.
