Choose software that will help you meet accessibility standards and produce accessible content. Adobe offers compliance information for its products that details applicable standards and outlines the accessibility features of each product.
Compliance information is provided for most Adobe products. Products listed on this page all have a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) that details all the regulations of the Section 508 accessibility standards of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and explains how a given product helps comply with each provision. The VPAT was developed by the Information Technology Industry Council to be used across the software industry. As more and more companies complete VPATs for their software products, you can evaluate a single product by consulting its VPAT, or print out the VPATs of several products for a side-by-side comparison. Some products listed below also have documents detailing compliance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
