Co jste se naučili: Pracovní plocha aplikace Illustrator
Na liště nabídek (úplně nahoře) naleznete nabídky Soubor, Úpravy a další, které umožňují přístup k řadě příkazů, úprav, nastavení a panelů.
Panel Nástroje (vlevo) obsahuje nástroje na vytváření a úpravu kreseb. Podobné nástroje jsou sjednocené do skupin. Tyto nástroje zpřístupníte stisknutím a podržením určitého nástroje v panelu Nástroje.
Vpravo se nacházejí různé panely, například Vlastnosti, Vrstvy a další panely, které obsahují různé ovládací prvky pro práci s kresbou. Úplný seznam panelů naleznete v nabídce Okna.
V okně Dokument (uprostřed) se zobrazuje soubor, se kterým právě pracujete. Pokud otevřete více dokumentů, budou se v okně Dokument zobrazovat jako karty.

Zvětšení a posouvání

Pomocí nástroje Lupa, který se nachází v panelu Nástroje, si můžete přiblížit detaily dokumentu. Pokud zobrazení namísto zvětšování chcete zmenšovat, stiskněte klávesu Alt (Windows) nebo Option (macOS).
Nástrojem Ručička, který se zpřístupňuje přidržením nástroje Lupa v panelu Nástroje, se posouvá zobrazení dokumentu.

Vytvoření nového dokumentu

Když v aplikaci Illustrator nejsou otevřené žádné dokumenty, zobrazuje se úvodní obrazovka. Na té uvidíte seznam posledních souborů, výukový obsah a přednastavení. Kromě toho nabízí přístup k různým zdrojům a vyhledávání ve službě Adobe Stock.
Zvolte možnost Soubor > Nový. V dialogovém okně Nový dokument nejprve vyberte přednastavení. Například přednastavení Tisk ukazuje různé velikosti a možnosti dokumentu, které u nového dokumentu můžete nastavit. V dialogovém okně Nový dokument máte přístup k bezplatným i placeným šablonám ze služby Adobe Stock, které představují ideální výchozí bod pro vaši tvorbu.

Ukládání práce
Seznamte se, jak se ukládají projekty v aplikaci Illustrator.
Co jste se naučili: Jak uložit soubor a rozdíly mezi dokumentem v cloudu a dokumentem uloženým v počítači
Zvolte možnosti Soubor > Uložit nebo Soubor > Uložit jako. V dialogovém okně „Uložit do počítače nebo do dokumentů v cloudu“ máte na výběr, zda dokument kliknutím na možnost „Uložit do dokumentů v cloudu“ uložíte jako dokument v cloudu, nebo zda jej kliknutím na možnost „Uložit do počítače“ uložíte přímo do počítače.
K dokumentům v cloudu máte přístup z jakéhokoli zařízení, na kterém je nainstalovaná aplikace Illustrator, včetně zařízení iPad. Dokumenty v cloudu se při práci ukládají automaticky. Ukládání dokumentů v cloudu je rychlejší než ukládání dokumentů do počítače a verze dokumentů v cloudu si můžete ponechat v panelu Historie verzí.
Poznámka:
Při uložení dokumentu ve formátu Illustrator (s příponou AI) nebo jako dokumentu v cloudu (s příponou AIC) se zachovají vrstvy, texty i další vlastnosti nastavitelné v aplikaci Illustrator. Když na dokumentu pracujete, je nejvhodnější ukládat jej do počítače jako dokument aplikace Illustrator nebo jako dokument v cloudu.
V tomto kurzu klikněte na možnost Uložit do počítače.
V dialogovém okně „Uložit jako“ soubor pojmenujte, zvolte umístění, do kterého se má uložit, a v nabídce Format (macOS) nebo Uložit jako typ (Windows) vyberte možnost Adobe Illustrator. Klikněte na Uložit. V následně otevřeném dialogovém okně Možnosti aplikace Illustrator vyberte možnost Soubor > Uložit nebo Soubor > Uložit jako. Když dokument ukládáte jako dokument aplikace Illustrator, bude v tomto dialogovém okně více možností.
