Odhalte rozdíl mezi vektorem a rastrem a naučte se přidávat obrázky do svých projektů.

V aplikaci Illustrator můžete do projektů přidávat rastrové obrázky, jako např. ty, které jste pořídili ze svého telefonu.
Pokud budete chtít do dokumentu vložit obrázek, vyberte možnost Soubor > Umístit. V dialogovém okně Umístit vytvořte výběrem možnosti Odkaz tzv. odkaz na původní obrázek. Pokud dojde u obrázku mimo aplikaci Illustrator k úpravě, úprava proběhne automaticky také v dokumentu Illustrator. Zrušením výběru možnosti Odkaz při vkládání se obrázek vloží přímo do dokumentu Illustrator.
Na panelu Nástroje označte nástroj pro výběr a se stisknutou klávesou Shift přetažením rohu upravte velikost obrázku. Nakonec uvolněte stisknutí tlačítka myši a poté klávesu Shift.
Kliknutím na tlačítko Oříznout obrázek na panelu Vlastnosti v pravé části dokumentu můžete oříznout části obrázku. Přetažením libovolného táhla na okraji obrázku odstraňte nežádoucí část. Na panelu Vlastnosti klikněte na tlačítko Použít.

Co jste se naučili: O efektech
V nabídce Efekty najdete různé efekty z aplikace Illustrator a Adobe Photoshop. Efekty z aplikace Illustrator jsou vektorové efekty. Efekty z aplikace Photoshop jsou rastrové efekty.
Pokud se rozhodnete efekt použít, klikněte na panelu Vlastnosti na možnost Vybrat efekt.
Během úpravy efektu můžete kliknutím na název efektu na panelu Vlastnosti otevřít dialogové okno s možnostmi efektu.
Pokud budete chtít otevřít panel Vzhled, zvolte možnost Okno > Vzhled nebo v části Vzhled na panelu Vlastnosti klikněte na tlačítko Další možnosti. Na panelu Vzhled najdete informace o označených objektech v dokumentu, stejně jako atributy vzhledu použité u dané kresby. Pokud budete chtít efekt použitý u kresby dočasně skrýt, klikněte na ikonu oka nalevo od názvu efektu na panelu Vzhled. Kliknutím na název efektu na panelu Vzhled efekt upravíte.

Přidání efektů

Klikněte na nástroj pro výběr a následným kliknutím na kresbu ji označte.
Pokud se rozhodnete efekt použít, klikněte na panelu Vlastnosti na možnost Vybrat efekt. V nově otevřené nabídce Efekt vyberte některou z možností, jako je např. Efekt > Deformovat a transformovat > Vypustit a nafouknout a použijte požadovaný efekt. V nově otevřeném dialogovém okně upravte možnosti efektu a klikněte na tlačítko OK.
Kliknutím na název efektu na panelu Vzhled efekt upravíte. (Pokud budete chtít otevřít panel Vzhled, zvolte možnost Okno > Vzhled nebo v části Vzhled na panelu Vlastnosti klikněte na tlačítko Další možnosti.)

Přidání tvůrčích tahů štětcem
Zjistěte, jak můžete do kresby přidat tvůrčí tahy štětcem z panelu Štětce.

Štětce se použijí u tahu vektorové kresby v aplikaci Illustrator.
Výběrem možnosti Okno > Štětce otevřete panel Štětce, ve kterém najdete výchozí štětce i všechny štětce vytvořené v rámci dokumentu.
Vyberte nástroj pro výběr a kliknutím vyberte vektorovou kresbu. Na panelu Štětce klikněte na štětec ze seznamu a použijte jej.
Na panelu Vlastnosti můžete upravit tloušťku tahu štětcem. Změny se projeví okamžitě.
Aplikace Illustrator přichází s celou řadou knihoven štětců. Kliknutím na nabídku Knihovny štětců ve spodní části panelu Štětce vyberte knihovnu štětců. Jakmile bude knihovna otevřená ve formě panelu, kliknutím použijete štětec u vybrané kresby.
