Additionally, having an Indian wedding preparation list (Bhartiya shadi ki tayari suchi - भारतीय शादी की तैयारी सूची) can simplify vendor coordination, venue decoration, and catering tasks.

You might also want to have to-do lists that contain tasks categorised by timeframes — such as tasks to complete this week, this month or this year. Or by project — such as developing a new business plan, planning a party or event or undertaking a home renovation project.

Limit your list to tasks.

Make sure that everything on your to-do list is task specific. You might have an overriding goal or outcome, but everything you include in an itemised list should be something that contributes to that goal.   • For example, create categories like 'Shopping,' 'Decor,' and 'Food' in bold colours to organise festival preparations. Visual icons, such as diyas, flowers, or dhols, can also add a festive touch..

Use fonts, icons and images effectively.

Choose a typeface that is easy to read, but also reflects the context or theme of your tasks. Include icons or images to depict what you want to achieve. For example —

  • In a wedding to do list (shaadi ke karya ki suchi - शादी के कार्य की सूची), track the status of invitation deliveries and update deadlines for outfit fittings and ensure items from the ladki ki shadi ka saman ki list (लड़की की शादी का सामान) are purchased on time.

Use numbering for tasks that need to be done first.
