El proceso comienza con las instrucciones para aplicar un texto dinámico sobre una forma curva. Para ello se utiliza la Herramienta Texto en trazado, que permitirá escribir sobre una línea ondulada y definir la forma general del diseño en Adobe Illustrator. En este caso, Ari Marasco

Personalización de texto
A continuación, personalizarás el texto a detalle usando el menú de texto y la Herramienta Retocar texto. La clave para que comience a notarse y reflejarse el estilo vintage es la elección de una fuente con aire retro; para eso aprenderás cómo encontrarla y activarla rápidamente AdobeFonts y reorganizarás algún que otro caracter tipográfico si fuese necesario. El menú de opciones te ayudará en el proceso, y podrás previsualizar cada imagen y tamaño de la fuente.
Preparación de un símbolo para texturizar
Un símbolo en Illustrator es un objeto vector que se puede guardar y reutilizar dentro del mismo documento las veces que quieras. Sirve para evitar repetir tareas, mantener los diseños organizados, ahorrar tiempo y reducir el tamaño de un archivo en el ordenador entre muchas cosas más. Aquí crearás dentro de Adobe illustrator un símbolo personalizado, partiendo de la una textura artística con estilo carboncillo.
Este paso técnico es clave para generar el look desgastado de una estampilla antigua que le dará un look vintage inigualable. Toma nota: Para crear el símbolo debes hacer clic en la opción "Nuevo Símbolo" dentro del panel de Símbolos. Trabajar en modo de aislamiento puede ser útil en este paso.

Las manchas por el desgaste natural del tiempo son comunes en las antiguas estampillas y postales. Y ese look manchado y sucio es lo que se desarrolla en esta nueva etapa del tutorial de Illustrator. Con la Herramienta Rociar símbolo se procede a distribuir el símbolo vector editado anteriormente sobre toda la superficie gráfica, de forma controlada para un acabado grunge original. Recuerda que cada imagen necesitará un tratamiento de color distinto para un mejor resultado.
Detalles para reforzar el estilo antiguo y desgastado
Como broche de oro, se suman capas adicionales de textura y grunge para acentuar la apariencia de una estampilla antigua. Se ajustan distintos parámetros del símbolo en Illustrator, como el ángulo, el tamaño y la transparencia, con el objetivo de lograr el acabado envejecido, propio del estilo vintage.
Nota extra: Para cambiar el color de un objeto, utilizarás el panel de color. Siempre puedes trabajar buscando las herramientas en el menú superior y también puedes acceder a ciertas funciones mediante el menú contextual, illustrator tiene infinitas posibilidades para encontrar dentro del software lo que estas buscando.
