Rearrange effects

Just as FreeHand objects appear in the drawing area in the order that you draw them, an object's properties appear within the object in the order in which they are listed in the Object panel. The order in which objects are listed in the hierarchical Properties list, and the effects under which each property is listed, can dramatically change an object's appearance.

Because each effect creates a new branch in the Properties list, it's easier to move strokes and fills to an effect than to rearrange the effects themselves. To achieve a different appearance for the handheld organizer, move a fill within the Properties list.

In the Properties list, drag Fill: Lens in between Effect: Ragged and Stroke: Calligraphic.
The Lens fill now has a ragged edge.
