- Adobe® Buzzword®. Use this proven and trusted online word processor to write and collaborate on reports, proposals, and anything else you need to access online or work on with others.
- Acrobat.com Presentations. Collaborate with colleagues to create stunning presentations. Your slides are always available online, so you can make last-minute tweaks and present the content from wherever you are.
- Acrobat.com Tables. Work with others on information typically shared in spreadsheets or simple databases. Multiple people can update data at any time, so you have a living document for maximum collaboration.

- Acrobat.com is available in English, French, German, and Japanese. However, Buzzword is available only in English, French and German. Acrobat.com Presentations and Tables are available in English only.

- What is Adobe Buzzword?
- Adobe Buzzword is a web-based, highly collaborative word processor built on the ubiquitous Adobe Flash® Platform.
- Can I spell-check in different languages?
- The Buzzword interface is currently available in English, French, and German. It does include a spelling checker for 19 languages, limited to the latin-1 character set. Languages include Danish, Dutch, English (CN), English (U.K.), English (U.S.), Finnish, French (France), French (Canada), German, German (Reformed), German (Swiss), German (Swiss Reformed), Italian, Norwegian (Bokmal), Norwegian (Nynorsk), Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish, and Swedish.
- What file formats does Buzzword support?
- Buzzword currently imports and exports plain text (TXT), Rich Text Format (RTF), Microsoft Word (DOC and DOCX), and Open Office (ODT) files. It also exports to Adobe PDF, HTML, and ePub.
- What is the difference between roles in Buzzword?
- There are three roles: coauthor, reviewer, and reader. A coauthor has full editing privileges while a reviewer can add comments but cannot edit the text. A reader can access the document but cannot make any changes. Also, as a separate permission from the role they have in the document, people can invite others at their level or less. For example, reviewers can invite others as a reviewer or reader.
- How long has Buzzword been available?
- The product has been available since May 2007, with users in more than 100 countries.
Acrobat.com Presentations
- What is Acrobat.com Presentations?
- Built on the Flash Platform, Presentations is a web-based application used to create, edit, and share presentations with others online.
- What roles are available in Presentations?
- There are two roles in Presentations: coauthor and reader. A coauthor has full editing privileges. A reader can access the presentation but cannot make any changes.
- What file formats does Presentations support?
- Presentations imports from Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT and PPTX) and exports to Adobe PDF. In future releases, you will be able to import and export to other popular file formats.

Acrobat.com Tables
- What is Acrobat.com Tables?
- Built on the Flash Platform, Tables is a web-based application used to work with others on data and information typically created and shared in spreadsheets or simple databases.
- How is Tables different from a spreadsheet?
- Tables focuses on the most common use of spreadsheets, creating data tables for tracking events, analysis, and more. Tables is column based, so formulas will apply to the entire column, not just a cell. Current plans include adding more capability that will make Tables a fully functional spreadsheet for most uses.
- What file formats does Tables support?
- Tables currently exports to Microsoft Excel (XLS), comma separated values (CSV), and Adobe PDF. In future releases, you will be able to import and export to other popular file formats.
- What are some of the upcoming features of Tables, and when will they be available?
- The Acrobat.com Tables team is actively working on new features and expects to release updates frequently. In the next few releases, you will see new features such as charting and more ways to work better together as you create and analyze your data and information.
Adobe ConnectNow
- What is Adobe ConnectNow?
- ConnectNow is a web conferencing solution you can use to instantly communicate and collaborate using your own online meeting room.
- How do I start a meeting?
- To start a meeting, just open a browser window and enter your unique meeting room URL, which never changes. Invite others to join you at the same URL. There is no need to schedule meetings in advance; just go to your online meeting room at the same URL anytime you want to host a meeting.
- How do I share my screen?
- Just click the Share My Computer Screen button. You will be prompted to download a small ConnectNow plug-in that will take only a few seconds. You can share windows, applications, or your entire desktop with participants in a meeting. Meeting attendees will not need to download any software unless they also want to share their screen.
- Who should use ConnectNow?
- Anyone who wants to communicate and collaborate instantly with anyone — from colleagues to customers, one-on-one or in small groups.
- What are always-on personal meeting rooms?
- With ConnectNow, you can set up a customized URL that stays the same, so it's easy for everyone to remember.
- How many people can attend my meeting?
- With a free Acrobat.com account, three people, including you as the host, can attend a meeting. If you need more participants, consider upgrading to an Acrobat.com Premium account. To take advantage of more robust web conferencing features, consider Adobe Acrobat® Connect™ Pro software.
- Do meeting attendees need to sign up for an account?
- No. Meeting attendees can attend your meeting as guests and do not need to sign up for their own account.
- Do meeting attendees need to download any software to attend my meeting?
- No. All that's required is the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player runtime, which is already on most browsers worldwide. However, if attendees would like to share their screen, they will be prompted to install a small ConnectNow plug-in.
- Can ConnectNow meetings be accessed across firewalls?
- ConnectNow communicates through standard HTTP and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) ports, so users do not have to reconfigure their firewalls to participate in online meetings.
- How is ConnectNow different from Acrobat Connect Pro?
- With the ability to accommodate up to 20 participants for online meetings, ConnectNow as part of an Acrobat.com Premium subscription is a great choice for individuals and small groups. Acrobat Connect Pro enables interactive web conferencing for large organizations, as well as web seminars, sales presentations, and online training for up to 1,500 participants.
- Does ConnectNow include free audio conferencing?
- Yes. Every account includes free audio conferencing. No reservations are required — just click the phone icon and select Adobe Conference Number. You will see a text box with the call-in numbers as well as the meeting ID number. There is no charge for the service; however, long distance phone charges may apply.
- Does ConnectNow include remote control?
- Yes. With ConnectNow, a meeting participant can take control of other meeting participants' desktops with their permission. This is useful for collaborative work sessions, one-on-one instruction, and product support. You can access remote control in two ways: (1) while you are sharing, select someone else on the attendee list and choose Give This User Control Of My Computer, or (2) if you'd like to request control of someone's screen, click his or her name while the participant is sharing and select Request Control Of This User's Computer.
File organizer
- What is the Acrobat.com file organizer?
- Your file organizer is the hub of all your Acrobat.com activities — the place where you store and share files, create PDF documents, and organize all your files including the ones you create within Acrobat.com.
- How do I share documents?
- First, upload your document to Acrobat.com. Then select the file and click the Share button in the lower left corner. Select whether you want the file to be open access (anyone with the URL can view it) or restricted access (only people you specify can view it). Enter the e-mail address(es) of your recipient(s) and add a message if necessary. Recipients will receive an e-mail with a link they can click to view or download the document. At any time, you can easily add or remove individuals or change their access level.
- How do I share my screen?
- Just click the Share My Computer Screen button. You will be prompted to download a small ConnectNow plug-in that will take only a few seconds. You can share windows, applications, or your entire desktop with participants in a meeting. Meeting attendees will not need to download any software unless they also want to share their screen.
- Can I link to my documents on Acrobat.com?
- Yes. Each document you upload to your Acrobat.com account is assigned a unique website address, so you can also link to your documents or embed rich previews on your own website, blog, or wiki.
- Does the recipient of a document need to sign up for Acrobat.com?
- For open-access documents, recipients do not need an Acrobat.com account. For restricted-access documents, recipients will need to sign up for a free Acrobat.com account to access them. For each document, you decide how restrictive you want to be.
- How much content can I share and store on Acrobat.com?
- Your Acrobat.com account includes 5GB of storage space.
- How many people can I share a document with?
- You can share a document with as many people as you want.
- Are there any restrictions on the types of files I can upload and share?
- You cannot upload and share the following file types: audio formats (MP3, AAC, OGG), video formats (MOV, WMV, FLV, XVID, DIVX, RETG), font formats (TTF, DFONT, OTF), archive formats (TGZ, RAR 7Z, SIT, JAR, WAR, CAB), system files and executable formats (EXE, DLL, JS, VB, BAT, CMD, COM, CPL, SH, CSH, TCSH, KSH, BASH, ZSH, INF, HTA, HLP, INS, ISP, VB, JSE, LNK, MS, PIF, SCR, SHS, WS), web files (CHM, CRT), database files (MDB), or raster image files (PCD, SCT).
- Can I update files I have already uploaded and shared with others?
- Yes. You can upload a new version of an existing document and retain the document's unique URL. The newly uploaded document needs to have the same document name as the previous version.

- What file formats can I convert to Adobe PDF?
- You can convert the following file types: text (TXT, PS, RTF); Microsoft Office (DOC, XLS, PPT, PRJ); Microsoft 2007 (DOCX, PPTX, XLSX); Microsoft Publisher 2003 and 2007 (PUB); Open Office (ODT, ODP, ODS, ODG, ODF); Star Office (SWX, SXI, SXC, SXD, STW); WordPerfect (WPD); and images (BMP, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG).
- How can I get more PDF conversions after I reach my limit?
- With your free Acrobat.com account, you can convert up to five files to PDF. If you need more PDF file conversions, we recommend you upgrade to an Acrobat.com Premium account. To get the full power of PDF creation on your desktop, purchase Adobe Acrobat 9 software.
- Is there a limit to how big a file I can convert to PDF?
- Yes. There is a 200MB per file limit.
- Can I combine multiple documents into one PDF or create a PDF Portfolio using Acrobat.com?
- No, you cannot combine multiple documents into one PDF or create a PDF Portfolio. You can do this with Acrobat 9.
Mobile application
- Which mobile phones are supported?
- Currently, Acrobat.com mobile by scanR works on the iPhone and the BlackBerry. Additional mobile phones will be added in the future.
- How can I upload documents to Acrobat.com from my mobile phone?
- There are two ways to upload documents to your Acrobat.com account using Acrobat.com mobile by scanR. You can take pictures from your mobile phone and upload them to your Acrobat.com account and have them available as PDF files.
- Can I view all my uploaded Acrobat.com documents?
- Currently, you can view the following file types on your mobile phone: Adobe PDF, text (TXT, PS, RTF), Microsoft Office (DOC, XLS, PPT, PRJ), Open Office (ODT, ODP, ODS, ODG, ODF), Star Office (SWX, SXI, SXC, SXD, STW), WordPerfect (WPD), and images (BMP, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG). In the future, you will also be able to use your mobile phone to view Adobe Buzzword documents, as well as presentations and tables created with Acrobat.com.
- What file types will I be able to share?
- When you share, you are simply sending a link to the document. So using Acrobat.com mobile by scanR, you can share any of your Acrobat.com files, whether they were uploaded or created using Acrobat.com.
- What access type will be applied on files I share from Acrobat.com mobile by scanR?
- If you share a file that is already in your Acrobat.com account, then the sharing permission (open access vs. restricted access) will be whatever it is in the current file. Open access means that anyone with the URL will be able to view the file. Restricted access means that only the individuals you shared the file with will be able to view the file. If you upload a new document, the sharing permission is restricted by default. If you share a document, presentation, or table created on Acrobat.com, the recipient will be a coauthor by default.
- Can I send faxes from my Acrobat.com mobile by scanR application?
- Yes, you can send any of your uploaded documents as a fax. However, you cannot receive faxes and you cannot send out any Buzzword documents, Acrobat.com Presentations, or Acrobat.com Tables as faxes.
Subscriptions
- How do I purchase Acrobat.com?
- You may purchase a subscription to Acrobat.com through the Adobe Store. You subscribe to a service the same way you buy any other product: by adding it to your shopping cart, providing your credit card number, and then checking out. Your credit card will be charged automatically, either annually or monthly, based on the type of subscription you purchased.
- Can I try Acrobat.com before I purchase a subscription?
- Yes, you can try out Acrobat.com before purchasing by signing up for a free account. The free service has the same features but is limited by capacity and does not include access to one-on-one technical support. There is no separate trial for Acrobat.com Premium.
- Do I need an Acrobat.com account before purchasing a subscription?
- No. You may purchase Acrobat.com without an existing account. You will create your Acrobat.com account as part of the purchase process.
- What are the payment options?
- You may purchase an Acrobat.com subscription with a credit card. No other forms of payment, such as purchase orders or checks, are accepted at this time.
- How do I change or update my credit card information?
- You may update your credit card information and billing address by visiting your subscriptions page. After you sign in to your account, go to the "manage your subscriptions" area and click "update payment info" next to the subscription you would like to update.
- Can I purchase Acrobat.com outside North America?
- No. At this time, Acrobat.com is available for purchase in North America only. A valid address is required as part of the checkout process. The free version of Acrobat.com is available worldwide.
- If I cancel my subscription, will I still have access the Acrobat.com free services?
- Yes. If you cancel your paid subscription, your account will be downgraded to a free account and you will still have access to the free Acrobat.com service. This includes your meeting room URL, which will stay the same, but your meeting room capacity will be limited to three people, including the host.
- Is Acrobat.com secure?
- Acrobat.com employs some of the latest technology available for Internet security. When you access Acrobat.com, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption. This technology helps ensure your data and documents are protected and available only to you and users authorized by you.
