• In most cases, when you create an Adobe ID, you will have a choice about receiving Adobe marketing emails, phone calls, or postal mailings.
• If you do not have an Adobe ID, you can tell us you do not want to receive email, telephone, or postal mail marketing by emailing us at privacy@adobe.com.
Note that there are certain emails we still need to send you relating to normal business operations, even if you ask not to receive marketing emails (for example, we may email you to inform you that your subscription is expiring). Also, if another user invites you to view or collaborate on content hosted on an Adobe website or application, you may receive emails related to these functions (for example, an email telling you that a user has invited you to collaborate). You cannot opt out of these types of emails.
Tell us not to use Adobe® SiteCatalyst®, Adobe Test&Target™, and Adobe CQ to measure how you use Adobe websites and online services or to tailor your experience on them.
We may use cookies as part of our use of these services to better understand how our websites and online services are used and so that we can improve them. We may also collect information using these cookies for purposes such as market research, customer support, and tailoring our websites and online services to your likely interests. For example, these cookies help us understand which pages you viewed, the searches you made, and the applications you tried or purchased. If you do not want us to use these Adobe services on Adobe websites and online services to collect data from your browser for these purposes, you can tell us that by "opting out."
Tell us not to tailor Adobe ads shown to you on other websites.
Adobe sometimes runs online ad campaigns that involve showing you ads based on your likely interests (learn more). We may learn what we think interests you based on your use of our websites and online services, or from other companies and websites that help us understand your likely interests. We allow you to choose not to receive tailored Adobe ads shown on other websites based on your activity on our websites and online services. Note about cookie-based preferences: Except the preferences for email, telephone, and postal mail marketing, all of the privacy preferences described above work by placing a cookie on your browser to store your preference. Therefore, your browser must be configured to accept cookies for your preference to take effect. If you delete or clear your cookies, your preference setting will be removed and you will need to set it again. Also, your preference setting cookie is specific to the browser you used to set the preference and is not stored along with your Adobe account. So if you set your preference using Mozilla Firefox, but come back later using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, we won’t see your preference. You would need to set your preference using those browsers as well.
