Premiere Elements 2.0

"This robust, inexpensive 'entry level' editing program is suitable not only for the non-technophobe beginning editor, but should keep the intermediate cutter content as well…The folks at Adobe have just raised the bar for entry level editing software. For less than $100, beginning editors can have a program with a relatively low learning curve, but with enough functionality to keep them cutting well through their ascent into the intermediate ranks."

"The real gem of Premiere Elements 2.0 is its performance... [it] sings—just sings—with today's hardware. If you're running a dual-core machine, Premiere Elements' multithreaded engine chews through video in a way that will make any hardware-head giggle with joy."

Premiere Elements 1.0

"Since the early days of nonlinear editing, there has been a great chasm separating the worlds of high-end, full-featured professional editing applications and the inexpensive, easy-to-use solutions that don't allow much room for creative growth. Adobe® Premiere® Elements bridges the gap nicely, offering much of the functionality of its full-featured parent while adding in a few design elements to make it easier for beginners. Nice job, Adobe!"
