Troubleshooting

If you installed Shockwave Player, but the movies at the Macromedia Download Center page do not work, check the following:

1 Make sure you have a Macromedia Shockwave Player-compatible browser.
2 Make sure you have only one copy of your browser installed and that the copy you installed Macromedia Shockwave Player into is the same copy you are using to browse the Web.
3 If you are running a 16-bit version of your browser with Windows 95, you will receive an error stating "Could not load plug-in". This is common with subscribers of earlier versions of America Online and Compuserve. Download the Windows 3.1 version of Macromedia Shockwave Player from the "Need a different Web Player?" link in the step 1 column and install it.
