Notifying Adobe of Security Issues

Adobe takes security very seriously and aims to quickly address any security-related problems involving our products. We've set up an email address that customers can use to report security issues to us directly.

When to use the Adobe Security Report Form:
To report a security issue associated with an Adobe product or any Adobe website, including Adobe-hosted web applications.

When NOT to use the Adobe Security Report Form:
Although we would like to be able to answer all of your security questions, we simply do not have the capacity. You should not send email to this address about:

How to use security features in a Adobe product. Contact customer support directly.
Where to get patches and work arounds. This information is in the bulletins. Further information can be found on the Adobe Product Security Incident Response Team blog.
How to get more information about viruses, firewalls, hoaxes, or other security-related issues.
Reporting software piracy (copying, selling, or using software that hasn't been properly licensed), phishing, spoofing, or spam emails. See the Adobe anti-piracy initiative, or contact piracy@adobe.com directly.

How the Adobe Security Report Form works:

The Adobe Security Report Form mailbox is monitored by Adobe engineers. We will respond appropriately to reports of a new security issue with any Adobe product. To help us research and respond effectively, please include the following information in your email:

a complete description of the problem.
an explanation of how you found the problem and how it can be reproduced.
the appropriate URL if that is relevant.
any relevant system information (e.g. OS version, database, SMTP server, etc.)
version and edition of all the Adobe software involved
your contact information including name, phone and email in case we need to contact you to get additional information.
