Einen Titel hinzufügen.
Wähle auf der Werkzeugleiste das Text-Werkzeug aus. Klicke auf die Zeichenfläche. Gib im Bedienfeld „Eigenschaften“ unter „Zeichen“ einen hohen Schriftgrad ein, um den Text besser lesbar zu machen.
Der ausgewählte Platzhaltertext wird als Punkttext angezeigt, der sich für Titel gut eignet. Punkttext ist eine horizontale oder vertikale Textzeile, die an der Stelle beginnt, auf die du klickst, und durch das Eingeben von Zeichen erweitert wird.

Titel im Textfeld einfügen.
Gib deinen Titel ein. Drücke die Esc-Taste, um das Text-Werkzeug zu deaktivieren. Dadurch wird automatisch das Textobjekt ausgewählt.
Um den Text zu vergrößern, drücke die Umschalttaste und ziehe einen der Eckpunkte des Textobjekts.
Um das Textobjekt zu vergrößern, ohne dabei die Größe des Texts zu ändern, klicke doppelt auf das Widget auf der rechten Seite des Textfelds. Der Text wird dadurch von Punkttext in Flächentext umgewandelt.
Nun kannst du eine Ecke des Textobjekts ziehen und nur das Objekt skalieren. Umbrüche werden automatisch angepasst. Lasse den Text ausgewählt.

Den Titel formatieren.
Öffne im Bedienfeld „Eigenschaften“ unter „Zeichen“ das Pulldown-Menü für die Schriftfamilie. Wähle eine Schrift aus, oder füge eine neue Schrift hinzu. In der Bibliothek von Adobe Fonts kannst du aus mehreren Tausend hochwertigen Schriften wählen. Wenn du dieselbe Schrift verwenden möchtest wie im Beispiel, klicke im Menü für die Schriftfamilie auf „Mehr suchen“ und scrolle in der Liste bis zur Schriftfamilie „Program OT“. Klicke auf „Aktivieren“, und installiere alle Schriften der Schriftfamilie „Program OT“ auf deinem Computer. Wähle dann „Program OT“ im Menü für die Schriftfamilie und „Black Italic“ im Menü für das Schriftformat.

Den Titel hervorheben.
Passe bei Bedarf die Schriftgröße und den Zeilenabstand an.
Den Abstand zwischen den Zeichen kannst du über die Laufweite ändern. In diesem Beispiel haben wir eine Laufweite von -10 gewählt, um einen geringen Zeichenzwischenraum in der Überschrift zu erhalten.
Experimentiere mit der Textausrichtung. Um den Text zum Beispiel in der Mitte des Textobjekts auszurichten, wähle im Bedienfeld „Eigenschaften“ unter „Absatz“ die Option „Zentrieren“.
Wenn du mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden bist, ziehe das Textobjekt an die gewünschte Position.

Den Titel optimieren.
Du kannst jeden Buchstaben individuell formatieren und innerhalb des Textobjekts neu positionieren.
Füge dazu das Touch-Type-Textwerkzeug zur standardmäßigen Werkzeugleiste hinzu. Klicke auf der Werkzeugleiste auf „Symbolleiste bearbeiten“ (drei Punkte), um die Liste „Alle Werkzeuge“ einzublenden. Wähle das Touch-Type-Textwerkzeug aus, und ziehe es in die Text-Werkzeuggruppe auf der Werkzeugleiste. Klicke auf eine beliebige Stelle in der Zeichenfläche, um die Liste auszublenden.
Klicke auf das Text-Werkzeug, und halte die Maustaste gedrückt, bis sich das Werkzeugmenü öffnet. Wähle das Touch-Type-Textwerkzeug aus. Klicke auf einen Buchstaben im Text und ziehe an einer Ecke, um ihn zu skalieren. Positioniere den Buchstaben dann im Titel.

Text in einem Winkel ausrichten.
Wende deine neuen Kenntnisse an: Gib mit dem Text-Werkzeug einen Punkttext ein. Ändere die Schriftart und -größe. Bei Bedarf passe auch den Zeilenabstand und die Laufweite an. Klicke im Bedienfeld „Eigenschaften“ unter „Zeichen“ auf „Mehr Optionen“, um weitere Formatierungsoptionen anzuzeigen. Klicke auf die Schaltfläche „Großbuchstaben“.
Klicke im Bedienfeld „Eigenschaften“ unter „Aussehen“ auf die Flächenfarbe, und wähle eine andere Farbe für den Text aus.
Bewege den Cursor etwas vom Textobjekt weg, bis du einen gebogenen Pfeil siehst. Ziehe mit gedrückter Umschalttaste, um den Text um 90 Grad zu drehen. Ziehe den Text auf eine Seite des Titels.

Fließtext mit Sonderzeichen hinzufügen.
Ziehe mit dem Text-Werkzeug ein Feld auf, das automatisch mit Platzhaltertext gefüllt wird.
Du kannst Texformatierungen von anderen Stellen im Dokument einfach kopieren. Wähle das Pipette-Werkzeug, und klicke auf den gedrehten Text. Ändere einige Formatierungsmerkmale wie Schriftart und -größe, Zeilenabstand und Farbe. Gib dann deinen Text ein.
Wenn du Sonderzeichen einfügen möchtest, wie ein Copyright-Symbol oder Aufzählungszeichen, kannst du das Bedienfeld „Glyphen“ öffnen (Schrift > Glyphen) oder Menübefehle verwenden.
Klicke mit dem Text-Werkzeug auf die Stelle im Text, an der du ein Sonderzeichen einfügen möchtest (z. B. einen Halbgeviertstrich). Wähle „Schrift > Sonderzeichen einfügen > Trenn- und Gedankenstriche > Halbgeviertstrich“.

Für die Ausgabe vorbereiten.
Um das Poster für den Druck zu speichern, wähle „Datei > Speichern unter“. Wähle „Adobe PDF“, und klicke auf „Speichern“ bzw. „Sichern“. Wähle für „Adobe PDF-Vorgabe“ die Option „Qualitativ hochwertiger Druck“ oder „Druckausgabequalität“, je nach Empfehlung deines Druckdienstleisters.
