Introduction
[Stefan Gruenwedel]: Hello, I'm Stefan Gruenwedel; I'm an instructor for the Adobe Learn team.
And in this video, I'm going to show you some ways to organize pages in a PDF from within Adobe Acrobat.
I've got this sample budget for a movie that a production company wants to find funders for.
I need to update this file because the movie title changed, one of the pages is not necessary and the Executive Summary is in the wrong spot.
So, here's what I do.
Replace pages in a PDF
From the All tools panel on the left, I choose Organize pages.
Then I click the Zoom in button at the lower right or press Cmd or Ctrl + to increase the size of the thumbnails so I can have a better look at the pages.
Try this out for yourself using the sample files in this tutorial.
To replace a page in this example, select the first page, and then choose Replace in the panel on the left.
In the dialog box, navigate to another PDF that contains the replacement page.
We provided you with one called Budget New Title Page.pdf.
Once you open that file, the Replace Pages dialog box lets you decide what's replacing what.
You can replace a range of pages or just a single page.
You can see here that I'm replacing page 1 in the current PDF with page 1 in the new PDF.
Click OK, and then click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
The thumbnail updates.
We can remove page 10,
Remove and rotate pages
because all it does is show the movie's conceptual artwork.
And that's not relevant for a budget presentation, even though I love how it looks.
So, select it and click the Trash icon.
Click OK in the confirmation dialog box and it's gone.
By the way, other tools become available when you hover over a thumbnail or select it.
For example, you can rotate the page counterclockwise or clockwise.
Check out the other tools in the More menu.
Reorder pages by dragging
Finally, we can move the Executive Summary from the very end to right after the title page by just dragging it to the new position.
Be sure to explore the other options to see how easy it is to organize your PDF pages in Acrobat.
