Yes. It is planned that future versions of Adobe Premiere Pro, Prelude, and After Effects* can be used in standalone mode or in a collaborative environment with Adobe Anywhere. In standalone mode, you use project files stored on your local computer as you would with previous versions of the applications. For collaborative workflows, you log into Adobe Anywhere, and then can use shared assets and work with others on your production team who also are using Adobe Anywhere.

What video formats will I be able to use with Adobe Anywhere?

What network infrastructure is required to use Adobe Anywhere?

Adobe Anywhere is designed to run on standard IT networks such as gigabit Ethernet. Dedicated home-run cabling is not required, even when editing multiple layers at HD resolutions. Editing streams are designed to scale to the available bandwidth through an intelligent codec. For viewing content on small screens such as tablets and laptops, Wi-Fi networks are usually sufficient. Low-quality networks such as 3G or cellular can provide enough bandwidth for management views such as status information, event feeds, and metadata.

Will older versions of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Prelude work with Adobe Anywhere?

No. Adobe Anywhere will require new versions of these applications in order to take advantage of its collaborative capabilities.

Will team members need to learn new applications to use Adobe Anywhere?

No. Adobe Anywhere is planned to integrate directly into Adobe Premiere Pro, Prelude, and After Effects*, so there is virtually no learning curve. Video and broadcast professionals can begin working collaboratively with remote assets in a matter of minutes.
