A Ongoing platform support and feature development for Adobe eBook Platform Components (Adobe Content Server, Reader Mobile SDK, and Adobe Digital Editions) is now being handled by Harman Connected Services, Inc., a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. As of July 2025, Adobe transitioned these responsibilities to Harman, including future releases and technical maintenance. Harman now manages and distributes any new updates, enhancements, bug fixes, and support requests directly.

Distributors can choose to enforce a stronger DRM on specific books. When this flag is set, the book can be opened only by readers based on RMSDK 10.0 or above.
Charge your distributors a different rate for subscription resources such as journals or periodicals. Enable this feature by generating a subscription id to be used while packaging. Billing system pulls out transactions categorized as subscriptions to apply differential billing rates.
