1. Ouvrez le fichier Cup.jpg dans Photoshop. Dans le panneau Calques, double-cliquez sur le calque par défaut « Background » et renommez-le « Coffee cup ». 2. Dupliquez le calque « Coffee cup » en le faisant glisser sur l'icône Créer un calque. 3. Activez le mode Sélectionner et Masquer
: choisissez Sélection > Sélectionner et Masquer.

4. Dans le panneau de propriété, choisissez Affichage > Sur noir. Dans le menu d’outils situé à gauche, sélectionnez l’outil de sélection rapide en forme de brosse et réglez son épaisseur et sa dureté. 5. Avec la brosse, peignez l’intérieur de la tasse et cliquez sur OK.
6. Cliquez sur l'icône Ajouter un masque de fusion pour ajouter un masque de fusion correspondant à votre sélection. Le masque est l’orifice blanc que vous avez peint sur le calque « Coffee cup copy ».

7. Ouvrez la photo Ocean.jpg. Pour l’ajouter au document de la tasse, choisissez Sélectionner > Tout, puis Copier. Sélectionnez de nouveau le document Cup.jpg, puis choisissez Coller
. 8. Créez un masque d’écrêtage à partir du calque de l’océan (Calque 1) sur le calque qui se trouve juste au-dessous : maintenez la touche Alt enfoncée et cliquez entre les calques, ou faites un clic droit sur Calque 1 et sélectionnez Créer un masque d'écrêtage.
9. Faites glisser l’image de l’océan pour remplir la tasse. 10. Ajoutez un calque de réglage en cliquant sur l’icône Ajouter un nouveau calque de remplissage en bas du panneau Calques, puis choisissez Dégradé. 11. Sélectionnez la nuance Premier plan -> transparent. 12. Créez un autre masque d’écrêtage pour le calque de réglage : choisissez Calque >Créer un masque d’écrêtage ou appuyez sur Cmd/Ctrl + Option/Alt + G.
