InDesign에서는 휴대폰으로 촬영한 이미지와 같은 래스터 이미지 또는 로고와 같은 벡터 그래픽을 문서로 가져올 수 있습니다.
파일 > 가져오기를 선택하여 문서에 하나의 그래픽(또는 여러 그래픽)을 가져옵니다.
열기를 선택합니다. 그래픽을 가져오기 전에 프레임이 선택된 경우 그래픽은 프레임 안에 배치됩니다. 또한 클릭하여 기존의 빈 프레임으로 가져오거나 그래픽을 가져올 때 프레임을 만들 수 있습니다.
툴 상자에서 선택 툴을 사용해 그래픽 프레임의 모퉁이 점을 드래그하여 프레임의 크기를 조정하고 이미지의 일부분을 표시하거나 숨깁니다.
가운데가 아니라 그래픽 영역 안을 드래그하여 그래픽과 프레임의 위치를 변경합니다.

선택 툴을 사용해 그래픽을 클릭하여 선택합니다. 모퉁이를 드래그해 그래픽이 아니라 프레임의 크기를 조정하여 그래픽의 일부분을 숨기거나 표시합니다.
Ctrl+Shift(Windows) 또는 Command+Shift(macOS)를 누르고 모퉁이를 드래그하여 프레임과 그 안에 있는 그래픽의 크기를 조정합니다.
프레임 가운데로 포인터를 움직이면 내용 잡기 툴이라는 디스크 모양의 원이 표시됩니다. 내용 잡기 툴을 클릭하여 프레임 안에 있는 그래픽을 선택합니다. 크기 조정 또는 회전과 같은 변형이 프레임이 아니라 그래픽에 적용됩니다. Esc 키를 눌러 다시 그래픽 프레임을 선택합니다.
속성 패널의 변형 섹션에서 값을 변경하여 그래픽을 가로 또는 세로로 뒤집거나 회전시킵니다.
속성 패널에서 원하는 맞춤 옵션을 선택하여 선택된 그래픽에 맞춤 명령을 적용합니다.

InDesign에서 가져온 그래픽은 기본적으로 InDesign 외의 프로그램에서 만든 원본 파일에 연결되어 있습니다. 가져온 그래픽이 InDesign 외의 프로그램(예: Adobe Photoshop )에서 업데이트되면 해당 그래픽은 InDesign에서도 자동으로 업데이트됩니다.
창 > 링크를 선택하면 링크 패널에는 문서에 가져온 모든 그래픽의 파일 목록이 표시됩니다. 연결된 각 그래픽은 그래픽이 위치한 해당 페이지 번호와 함께 링크 패널에 나열됩니다.
링크 패널에서 이미지를 선택하고 링크로 이동 버튼을 클릭하면 해당 이미지가 선택됩니다.
목록에 있는 그래픽을 선택한 상태에서 다시 연결 버튼을 클릭하고 교체할 이미지를 찾습니다. InDesign에서 변형한 모든 내용은 그대로 유지됩니다.
누락되거나 수정된 그래픽이 있는 문서를 열면 대화 상자가 표시됩니다.
링크 패널에서 정지 표시판 아이콘이 있는 그래픽은 누락됨을 나타냅니다. 이 문제를 해결하려면 링크 패널에서 그래픽을 선택하고 패널 하단에 있는 다시 연결 버튼을 클릭하거나 속성 패널에서 파일 재연결 버튼을 클릭합니다.
