Pete is heading the Digital Department of Malaysia Airlines at a pivotal moment to help turnaround the business to be a profitable and stock listed airline by 2019.
Digital @ Malaysia Airlines encompasses the entire digital customer journey including E-commerce Solutions, website and mobile apps, Digital Marketing & Merchandising, Innovation & Digital Transformation and a newly established Data Sciences unit.
Pete has spent nearly 20 years in E-commerce and online travel. Having started off with Microsoft MSN and Expedia in Germany, he was part of launching two online travel agencies, Opodo in Europe and Zuji in Asia. He then headed off for 10 years to the Middle East, starting-up the E-commerce department for Qatar Airways before taking up the role with Malaysia Airlines.
General Manager, Blaze Digital
Jayaram has spent the last 15 years making his mark in the growing Malaysian digital scene. He started off in Astro Radio at the tender age of 19 with Malaysia’s Premier Teen Community, xfresh.com, and progressed quickly into a leadership role with Malaysia’s No.1 English radio station, hitz.com. As Astro Radio became more focused on the digital delivery of Content, Jayaram was asked to head the Digital Department, during which he developed 22 Award winning mobile radio apps.
He then took on the role of Specialist, Mobile Application Development and Device Testing with one of Malaysia’s Big 3 telcos, Maxis Berhad. He was the lead technical liaison with all smartphone vendors (Apple, Samsung, HTC, Blackberry, Huawei) for device engineering and mobile application development.
In May 2013, he rejoined Astro Radio and was tasked to transform the digital department into a fully independent commercial and production unit. So far, he has successfully increased revenue by 36% YoY and has won the company numerous advertising awards.
His ability to drive results has led him to his most recent venture - Blaze Digital. He is now responsible for the expansion of Blaze from 32 Digital properties to over 50 properties with Astro’s recent partnership with KarangKraf. As General Manager of Blaze Digital, Jayaram’s focus is on new technology development and commercial opportunity for clients and advertisers across all of Astro Group’s digital properties.

Michal Golebiewski, the Chief Marketing & Operations Officer (CM&OO) of Microsoft Malaysia is responsible for leading the entire span of the marketing and operations functions of the subsidiary.
This is an area that Golebiewski is well acquainted with, after having led various divisions within the marketing and operations team over the last 19 years in Microsoft Poland and Romania. This includes leading the Server and Tools Business, as well as the Customer and Partner Experience and Business Planning Operations function in Microsoft Poland.
Prior to joining Microsoft Malaysia, Golebiewski was also the CM&OO in Microsoft Romania.
Golebiewski will also play a key leadership role in directing and managing the overall business and marketing strategy as well as execution in Malaysia, overseeing product marketing groups, marketing communications, compete, business operations, enterprise marketing, public relations as well as customer and partner experience efforts.
Golebiewski graduated with a degree in Electronics from Warsaw Technical University, and enjoys swimming, and reading books in his spare time.
