Shanti Bell is a multi-disciplinary artist and maker creating experiential sculptures that explore the relationship between the body, furniture and shared space. At the V&A, she is developing interactive works inspired by the museum’s collections to encourage participation, play and connection among young audiences, reimagining how objects can foster belonging and reflection.

Emily Stapleton-Jefferis works across drawing and ceramics, exploring care, repair and material transformation. At the V&A, she is collaborating with families to investigate mending as both a practical and poetic act, using discarded objects and storytelling to connect people, materials and the natural world.

Maria Than is a multi-disciplinary artist, creative technologist and educator working across augmented reality, illustration and creative AI. At the V&A, she is working with students to explore AI as a tool for storytelling and self-expression, developing accessible and ethical approaches to digital creativity.

Participatory Art & Design
New York, NY
Lizania Cruz is a participatory artist and designer whose work explores migration, identity and belonging through research and community engagement. At MoMA, she is developing a site-specific project that brings together storytelling, mapping and collaboration to examine the connections between environment, public health and collective memory.

Creative Residents
The Creative Residents programme gives artists early in their career access to a museum’s resources, including staff expertise, mentorship and a platform to display their work. During a 12-to-18-month period, Creative Residents hone their skills, expand their networks and strengthen their practice.

Masha is a Ukrainian artist and recipient of an Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund grant. She uses her unique style to explore new ways of conveying emotion through art by breaking from literal representation. Masha studied fine arts at Kyiv Polytechnic University.
