How to add pages to a PDF online

Insert one or more pages into your PDF using these simple steps:

  1. Click Select a file above or drag and drop a PDF into the box with the dotted line.
  2. Choose the PDF you want to add pages to.
  3. Once Acrobat uploads the PDF document, you'll need to sign in.
  4. Select where you want to insert new pages, either before or after the page thumbnail.
  5. Choose the PDF file or files you want to add.
  6. Pick one or more page thumbnails, then drag and drop to reorder. You can also use delete and rotate options in the toolbar, if needed.
  7. Click Save to save your new PDF document. Then download the new file or get a link to share it.

Insert up to 1,500 PDF pages

Provided the final file has a maximum of 1,500 pages and is no larger than 100 MB, you can add as many pages to your PDF as you like. Each added file can have up to 500 pages.

Can I add multiple pages into a PDF?

Yes, with Adobe Acrobat, you can add one or more pages to a PDF for free. Upload a PDF using the insert pages tool and sign in. Select the desired insertion point for your new PDFs. A dialogue box will appear on-screen asking you to select your file or files. Then, simply drag and drop the PDF pages to reorder.

From there, it's easy to change the orientation of pages with the rotate clockwise or rotate anticlockwise icon. And if you don't want a page anymore, simply send it to the digital bin using the dustbin icon. Hit Save to see your changes.

Can I insert pages anywhere in my existing PDF file?
Yes, you can quickly and easily add one or multiple files before or after any existing page in your PDF.
How many pages can I add to a PDF?
With Adobe Acrobat online, you can add as many pages as you like to your PDF so long as the final document has 1,500 pages or fewer, with a file size up to 100 MB. Each inserted PDF has a limit of 500 pages.
