FrameMaker 12 & S1000D: Modular Tech Authoring for Defense, Aerospace & Aviation  ›

Every day, skilled writers, engineers and illustrators collaborate to deliver operational and maintenance information to support some of the most advanced equipment on the planet.  They use Adobe FrameMaker and the open international specification S1000D to quickly create modular technical content that can be delivered to PDF, HTML and Interactive Electronic Technical Publications on demand. From warships to corporate jets, manufacturers and operators of complex mission critical assets demand stability and quality in their authoring environments to ensure they meet their delivery milestones. Join Tammy as she demonstrates how Adobe FrameMaker 12 and an S1000D enabled CMS can change the way you create, manage and deliver technical data in your organisation, including:

  • Direct revision control and check-out from the Common Source DataBase CSDB
  • Searching for and referencing to other Data Modules in the CSDB
  • Searching for and importing images direct from the CSDB
  • Easy insertion of the Applicability mark-up and building the Applic Ref Block
  • CIR/TIR Insertion into Preliminary Requirements and content of Procedural DMs
  • Previewing of how the content will look when published to an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication IETP

and a whole lot more!
