License Management Specialist


The Challenge

Adobe is expanding and looking to add an enthusiastic, professional, and goal-oriented Software Licensing Specialist to our team in Japan. The role of the Software Licensing Specialist is to consult to customers in partnership with the Digital Media Enterprise Sales team on optimizing the transition from perpetual to subscription licensing and ensuring the customer is appropriately licensed for current and future requirements. This person will also support enterprise customers over their entire subscription term by working with them on annual true-ups and renewals, identify levels of adoption and coordinating with other Adobe teams to ensure the customers receive value from the use of the software and grow subscription over time. This will help the sales teams to grow Software sales for large existing accounts.



What you need to succeed

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and personal attributes:

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a high performance sales culture with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experienced in working with customers in pre-sales or licensing roles in the software industry. Capable of managing customers and demonstrates objection handling techniques.
  • Knowledge of how customers manage software deployment and use. Familiar with software asset management and general licensing terms, demonstrates an understanding of contracts and end user agreements including version changes, upgrade cycles.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout all Licensing activities and interfaces.
  • Data driven analysis with strong attention to detail and ability to execute within a matrix team structure.
  • Clear communication skills and English language required
