Social Media Strategist(契約社員)


The challenge

    The Social Media Strategist is responsible for supporting both social marketing programs and social media strategy. The team's aim globally is to leverage worldwide social networks to influence awareness & adoption of Adobe products, services & solutions by engaging & mobilizing local social communities and influencers. This involves successfully balancing social marketing programs with social media communications. You will develop, execute and measure social media communications strategy for the Adobe Japan corporate, digital marketing, digital media, and education business, ensuring Japan has a growing, engaged, vibrant creative social community reflecting Adobe’s innovative and leading brand. The position will report to Communications Manager, based in Japan.



What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage content strategy for across Japan business. Measure the impact of the strategy on a quarterly term, adjusting and improving on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead the region as the key point of contact between the global social media team and the region, to keep up to date with plans, to localize and implement global strategy
  • Work closely with HQ and APAC Social Marketing leads to ensure all campaigns meet governance requirements, to provide counsel on timing and strategy, and to assist with metrics and reporting as required.
  • Develop social strategy to support major events across the region.
  • Work with in-country communications leads and agencies to execute all social media strategies and social media campaigns, localizing as necessary.
  • Manage Adobe Japan’s communities. Own the community reach, engagement and conversion targets; and align social strategy with marketing plans and to amplify events.
  • Develop blog posts and other relevant content for Adobe Japan’s blog
  • Liaise with APAC and EMEA counterparts to learn, and implement best practice strategy in Japan.
  • Be an evangelist in terms of integrating social strategy to their marketing plans, events, and in their own professional practice.
  • Be expert in the use of Adobe’s own digital marketing tools, notable Adobe Social. Be an ‘Adobe on Adobe’ role model
  • Provide guidance on governance issues across Japan.
  • Work with the global social Center of Excellence to help deliver training such as Social Shift, and roll out other global initiatives.
  • Work with in-country communications leads and agencies to manage any social crisis situations that arise.


What you need to succeed

  • Proven track record of success in managing social media communities, with responsibilities in day-to-day management, growth strategies, measurement, engagement campaigns and content strategy.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, able to develop a variety of content from short posts to multi-media; blog posts and infographics
  • Experience in working with agencies to brief, manage and evaluate their work
  • 5+ years in the workplace; experience in working within matrix-style organizations preferable.
  • Strong program management skills with high attention to detail
  • Broad business understanding, strong analytical abilities and critical, creative thinker.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Driven, motivated, enthusiastic and energetic. A change-agent who influences, guides and leads by example.
  • Research and writing skills are a must.
  • Knowledge and experience of social media are mandatory.
  • Be fluent in both Japanese and English.
