15.006.30172 Planned update, May 10, 2016

This release is a planned update for the products listed in the table below. The latest version is always available through the product’s update mechanism, from the enterprise FTP site, and for some languages, from the Reader Download Center.

Track details

The Acrobat DC product family introduces two tracks for both Acrobat and Reader which are essentially different products: “Classic” and “Continuous.” Most end users will install the Continuous track provided from the Reader Download Center. Enterprise organizations will user either the Classic or Continuous track. For details and a comparison of the two tracks, see http://www.adobe.com/go/acrobatdctracks.

This release provides mitigations for vulnerabilities described in the corresponding security bulletins of Reader and Acrobat.

Bug fixes

Annotations

  • 4033287: JavaScript ExportAsFDF method fails to export Comments made unless a document is Reader Extended.

Web Capture

  • 4036717: The alignment/text direction is not the same as Source Website when we create a PDF via Web Browser.

Security

  • 4071369: Certifying Signature is invalidated on Signing but on re-open of file is valid.

  • 4129656: Whenever the attached PDF is opened, it tries to download the Certificate Revocation List.

  • 4133673: Unable to open RM protected PDF after 5 days in offline mode with Acrobat DC.

  • 4142177: SAML timeout after 2 hours leads to error message for opening new documents.

Rendering

  • 4061270: Thin dotted lines appear thick and solid.

  • 4091024: White stripes emanating from the edges while scrolling when the “replace document colors” option is chosen in Edit > Preferences > Accessibility.

Viewer

  • 4084347: MAC: Acrobat coninously crashes while opening a new file in a specific environment.

PDFMaker

  • 4050286: PDFMaker creates wrog hierarchy of bookmarks.

  • 4099539: Acrobat plug-in is not present in Visio 2016 (32 bit).

Browser

  • 4064609: Acrobat not able to open PDF file in IE Browser in particular scenario.

Sandbox

  • 4117726: Protected View doesn’t take Privileged Locations and WhiteList into account for printing.

Paper Capture

  • 4118545: While OCR with clear scan from multiple file route percentage shown is multiplied by 100.

Fill and Sign

  • 4102133: Signing a multi-page form on page other than where form fields were placed leads to rendering issues in FSS mode.
