Digital Marketing Solution Architect
Position Summary
Adobe’s Digital Marketing business has been doing well worldwide. In Japan, there are opportunities for further penetration in the enterprise market with Adobe’s Digital Marketing Solutions. We are looking for a Solution Architect to drive further growth of Digital Marketing business in Japan. The Adobe® Marketing Cloud enables customers to generate more revenue from their digital properties by effectively delivering the right online experience to the right person, at the right time; optimizing the spent of your online ad dollars; and better monetizing audiences to command the highest possible ad rates. In Japan, some of these solution segments in Adobe® Marketing Cloud have gained good traction and acceptance (such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target), while others still hunger for “early innovators” and “early adopters” in the marketplace. The focus of this Solution Architect is to become a solution expert in the areas of Adobe® Marketing Cloud, where there is comparatively less sales penetration, and work to cultivate “early innovators” and “early adopters” in these areas. This Solution Architect will work closely with product team, Adobe Global Services team (both presales and post-sales) in JAPAC, to architect and evangelize multi-products solution and/or leading edge solution in Digital Marketing industry. Focus will be on cultivation of “Lighthouse” customers thru adoption of these solutions. Overall objective is to expand the base of “early innovators” and “early adopters” for Adobe Marketing Cloud in targeted industry segments.
Responsibilities
- Be the technical/solution expert on Adobe’s Digital Marketing solutions in the most recent (or upcoming) releases, and evangelize these technologies thru development and demonstrations of solutions.
- Assists sales and solution consultant team (pre-sales) in assessing potential solutions of Adobe® Marketing Cloud to meet customer needs and implement demos/PoC (Proof-of-Concept) based on customer requirements, often requiring rapid response.
- Find opportunities to identify and define Digital Marketing solutions that are driven out of JAPAC market.
- Work closely with Adobe consulting services team (post-sales) to architect Digital Marketing solutions that would be compelling to customers and leverage these solutions to cultivate “Lighthouse” customers.
- May provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
- May lead/supervise the work of other technical staff
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in creating value in the Enterprise software market
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Experience in either Product Management, Technical consulting, Technical Sales, and/or Product Engineering roles (a combination of all these experiences would be ideal)
- Excellent skills/proficiency at making presentations and demonstrations. Effective at presenting to high-level executives
- Proven track record of understanding customer’s needs and competitive landscape, and using this knowledge/understanding in developing strategy/tactical plans
- Proven track record of demonstrated analytical skills to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations
- Excellent cross-functional communications and team player
- Proficient in Japanese business etiquette (e.g. 10+ years of working in Japan would be ideal)
- Highly proficient in both English and Japanese
